New Daycare.About me: I am a 36 year old mother of two,ages 3 and 5, changing to a career in Child Daycare. I have previous experience taking care of children at a young age. I am a responsible, caring, patience person. I have taken at least six early childhood education courses in University, but have a Degree in Philosophy with a minor in Adult Education. I am fluent in English, with basic french vocabulary.About the daycare: I have 4 places to fill starting May 24,2009. I am excepting children 2 to 5 years old. The daycare is open from 7 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday at 25.00¤ a day (with reciepts). Each day the children recieve two snacks and lunch. The Daycare will be based at my home, which is close to two main parks, and is on a quiet dead end street. My backyard is fenced in, and has some shaded areas for those hot days in the summer. There will be a range of activities including outdoor play, indoor play, learning activies, reading time, quiet/nap time, field trips, arts and crafts and many others.Philosophy: I believe, at this age, it is important for children to use both their gross motor skills as well as their fine motor skills. They will be able to do this through a variety of activities. They also learn well through play, especially cooperation and sharing skills. I would be happy to share my time with your children ,to help them learn, and to make sure they have the best of care, in a safe and clean environment, while you are at work, or occupied for the day.
